The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

I am on a Kiersten Modglin kick, and I found this audiobook on Scribd so I went for it. I always jump in blind to her books now that I’m new to reading her work, and they NEVER disappoint. She is becoming one of my top authors of read.

Trying to squeeeeeeeze in one more wintery read before the year is over. Not on purpose, but the book was just pushed aside left and right… and I have really wanted to read it this year. Hopefully I can finish it before NYE.

These two was recommended to me and I found both audiobooks on Scribd. The Arrangement is my top book by Modglin and The Liar’s Wife was good, but not as good as her other books. Definitely recommend these both, and pretty much all her books to people who like twisty thrillers.

Nothing planned as I probably won’t get to any more books before the new year.

Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments!

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

It’s the last month of the year. I am gonna read whatever book I want to get to before this year is over. December is usually random for me anyway. And with the way things have been around here, health wise, it definitely has been random, lol!

I went with a safe author of mine, James Patterson. I haven’t read Black Book series yet so I started it this month on audiobook (thanks to Libby from Ocean County Library). I also chose The Reunion by Kiersten Modglin, my third gift from her. Her books always rock out so I’m sure I will not be disappointed with this one.

These books should be finished before tonight is over.

The library is great! I borrowed Don’t Let Go in paperback but then decided to see if I could find the audiobook and I did. Another great listen of Harlan Coben’s books. If you’re into thriller books please read this one.

I found this erotic read for free and just went for it. I haven’t read many, if any, ménage books so I wanted to try it out. Paranormal books aren’t my thing, but this one was pretty alright in my book. Not sure I would continue with the series though.

I own both of these books, and want to read wintery books in the winter. I own paperback copies of both of these books so I want to prioritizing them as next. But I like my audiobooks! Gonna try my best.

It’s the last month of the year. I am gonna read whatever book I wanted to get to before this year is over. December is usually random for me! I wanted to read another Harlan Coben novel and borrowed this one from the library. THEN saw it was available on Scribd and went that route instead.

Looking back at my stats for this year I did more audiobooks than physical books (thanks to my library and Scribd) so I’ll probably choose some wintery thrillers to round out the year. I’m almost at 100 books read/listened to for the year, woohoo!

The library is great! I found 56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard on Hoopla and borrowed it. Such a great read! It feels so real because it takes place during the pandemic in Ireland. If you’re into thriller books please read this one.

I found this erotic read for free and just went for it. I haven’t read many, if any, ménage books so I wanted to try it out. This one was only 114 pages so this is why I chose it. And I enjoyed the book. Not sure I would continue with the series though.

I own both of these books, and want to read wintery books in the winter. I own paperback copies of both of these books so I want to prioritizing them as next. But I like my audiobooks! Gonna try my best.

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

I am sticking with the Netgalley Christmas themed book and making my way through Christmas In The Scottish Highlands by Donna Ashcroft. I didn’t know what audiobook to go with next so I did a BOTM one I have and started 56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard. Hoopla had one available and I snagged it up lol.

Only the third book I’ve read this month *GASP* but let me tell you, I plan to now read all of Harlan Coben’s work because this one was so good!!!! Book two comes out at the beginning of next year and I am HERE for it!

The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews was an okay romance. Honestly, I gave it two stars on Goodreads. I didn’t hate it but it was just aaaiiiggghhhtt.

I own both of these books, and keeping with my wintery/Christmasy themed challenge (#HoHoHoRAT) I am prioritizing these to be my next reads no matter what. Plus I’m gonna see what else I have on my physical shelf and if I have any other Netgalley winter themed books on that shelf as well.

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

Still powering through this romance book. I am invested because the name Keanu Reeves is in the title. I keep reading it before bedtime so I keep falling asleep. Does that mean I am not into the book, or that I am just tired from the day? I’m gonna give it till the end of the week to seriously get into this one. I need to finish this one so I can finish up my BOTM yearly challenge. I’m determined!

Novel Suspects had their Jan 2022 ARC sign up the other day, and the book I chose was the second in a series, so I borrowed the audiobook from my library. It’s my first Harlan Coben book and after chapter two I was totally hooked!!!

My review of this book can be found on my blog [here]

Pretty sure that Jay Kristoff is a sore subject for some people… and I do not know why, as I keep myself out of the loop of author drama. I went into this series this February not knowing either one of these authors work(s). If this author ain’t for you, for whatever reason, then ignore my recommend.

Netgalley November is upon us! And so is my wintery/Christmasy books challenge (HoHoHoRAT starts tomorrow, lol). I am prioritizing these to be my next reads no matter what.

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

I caved and signed up for Audible just so I could listen to the third book in the Aurora Cycle series, Aurora’s End because it came out yesterday (I listened to the first two books thanks to my library so I haaaaaaaaaad to listen to this one). And I am one genre book away from finishing my Book of The Month yearly challenge so I just started How To Marry Keanu Reeves in 90 Days. Romances aren’t always my thing, but Keanu Reeves has been MY THANNNNNG since 1995 so yep, I was on this book like white on rice.

I gave this one four stars! This mystery book had my on the edge of my seat. I did figure out what was really going on at Widow Falls but I didn’t predict the ending which is a plus. A great Kiersten Modglin read, I highly recommend it!

Netgalley November is upon us! I am saving my wintery / Christmasy books for later in the month, for another challenge, so for now these thrillers will do.

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

Edelweiss approved me for The Guilty Husband by Stephanie DeCarolis and it so happened that Scribd had the audiobook available and BOOM- two birds with one stone! Kiersten Modglin personally sent me Widows Falls and I am devouring it this week, it’s sooooo good!!! I am trying to get as many thriller books in this month for my SpooktoberChills and Fraterfest2021 challenges, so hopefully I can bust these two out before the weekend.

I gave The Wife Between Us three stars on Goodreads. It was a pretty good book but the end was ehhh for me. I mean, it worked but just ehhh.

I gave Rock Paper Scissors four stars on Goodreads because it kept my interest and the twist towards the ending was spot on! If I didn’t guess what was going on most of the story it gets a good rating from me.

I gave The Survivors by Jane Harper one star because I tried twice to get into the story and just can’t do it. I even tried to do the audiobook version and that was even worse. Sorry but not sorry so I moved on.

More thriller reads to get through before this month is over. Will I get to them? Who knows! These ones are on the top of my TBR list. I really liked Michael Rutger’s first novel The Anomaly so that’s why I want to read The Possession. Holdout is a sci-fi thriller so I am intrigued by this one as it’s a little outside my comfort zone.

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

Sticking with the thriller theme for this month, I went with a Netgalley book called The Guilty Sister by Arianne Richmonde and an audiobook of a BOTM book I already own called The Survivors by Jane Harper. The Netgalley I am seriously struggling with. I’m only 20% in and literally just do not care for where the story is heading. Maybe it’s the writing. I am going to give it till the end of the week and I may DNF it. The audiobook is a smidge hard to listen to- the narrator is ruining the story… does that make sense?

The three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you plan to read next?

Sticking with the thriller theme for this month, I went with a Netgalley book, and a library audiobook. The Netgalley is starting off weird and not what I was expecting, so I hope it picks up soon. The library audiobook is pretty decent but I hope I get thrown for a loop soon or this is one is gonna get a low rated stars.

I gave the Netgalley four stars on Goodreads.

My BOTM book was a two star read for me. The whole story felt all over the place to me, and too many characters to keep track of. I was over it by halfway through the book but I just finished it up quickly to move on.

More thriller reads to get through this month. These ones are on the top of my TBR list.
